Why is the free tier so complete?

Because your updates are the platform. Charging to post would be charging you to make Buildlog better. We charge for what helps you once your log starts working - running more products and a direct email line to your readers.

Who handles payment and tax?

Dodo Payments, as merchant of record. They handle global sales tax, VAT, and invoicing - upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the billing portal, effective at the end of your period.

What happens to my journey if I cancel Plus?

Nothing bad. Every journey stays public and keeps compounding, and access runs through the end of the period you paid for. We never hold your history hostage.
